Outlook for mac 2016 Turn off the SEND shortcut - Microsoft Community


has had success changing fn+command+enter shortcut send emails?  i must have sent 5 emails prematurely week. driving me absolutely nuts , hope in community can help.  

i have changed mac keyboard settings , added difficult shortcut "send" feature.  i restart app , outlook recognize new shortcut, great first step thinking fixed issue.   but, if go ahead use original fn+command+enter key, email still send!

we having same trouble , found solution on stack exchange: 

go system preferences -> keyboard -> keyboard shortcuts -> app shortcuts. add outlook list , make sure "menu title" states "send". after choose whatever cryptic shortcut sure never accidentally hit.

we quit outlook , relaunched, , command+enter no long sends.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
