Outlook for Mac 2016 won't open - dock icon bounces then stops - Microsoft Community


despite no changes in outlook (meaning updates), outlook mac 2016 not open.  the dock icon bounces , black dot appears, disappears , bouncing ceases.

i ran console see error message , said:

microsoft outloo[2248] copy_matching error domain=nsosstatuserrordomain code=-34018 "client has neither application-identifier nor keychain-access-groups entitlements" userinfo={nsdescription=client has neither application-identifier nor keychain-access-groups entitlements}

i have run disk utility , shows no errors.

any insights appreciated.

since containers cannot found, outlook profile might be corrupted. please create new profile via article below , check if helps.

please check again if can find containers folder manually looking under user folder on finder. please refer screenshot below.

 


 

gather log @ ~/library/containers/com.microsoft.outlook/data/library/caches/microsoft/uls/com.microsoft.outlook/logs.

 

and provide logs troubleshoot in this private message link.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
