Cannot add MSN email acct back to Outlook 2016 after "upgrade" - Microsoft Community


my msn email account, working fine in outlook 2016 using eas upgraded overnight 2 days ago. have not been able access email account outlook since. removed , re-added email account outlook using exchange active sync manual setup. added fine, got 1 inbox message - "reconnect outlook 2016 or outlook 2013 outlook.com uninterrupted email access". msn email account had been upgraded.

now cannot add msn email account outlook using autosetup, required new exchange server. after 10+ minutes of searching settings, fails, , tells me use manual setup. there no way manual setup msn account use exchange. btw, msn email primary, , email (no aliases) on account. 

can't believe outlook won't work with my microsoft email account.

after several hours on the phone trying support (and being transferred 6 times different support desks), gave on that. bad experience with ms phone support.

anyone else had problems re-adding acct after acct upgraded?

quick update - tried setup again morning, , worked. connected h exchange server in outlook 2016. after 3 days, mysteriously got fixed.
