Exchange-connected Outlooks showing previously deleted items - Microsoft Community


hi all, run outlook 2016 on multiple devices (mac laptop, mac desktop, pc tablet, , ios version on phone).  the devices connected corporate internal exchange server.  prior perhaps few months ago, if deleted message, of course delete on exchange , other devices reflect fact item in question not appearing in inbox.  more recently, not sure of exact date/update, items deleted on 1 system still showing in inbox on other systems, end wasting huge amount of time re-deleting same things.

anyone have idea on have caused , how solve it?  am experiencing kind of cached exchange mode (pc version has concept of via check box) deletions not sent exchange server in reasonable amount of time?

firstly, confirm more details better understand issue:
1. said devices connected corporate internal exchange server, exchange server refer on-premises exchange server exchange 2016 or office 365 online?
2. issue happen when delete 1 items no matter on device (mac laptop, mac desktop, pc tablet , iphone)? example, if delete 1 item on iphone, remain on mac , pc.
3. detailed outlook version on mac , pc.

meanwhile, check if in web version of outlook (for office 365, office 365 outlook on web) in organization, change synced? example, if delete 1 email in outlook mac, item deleted in web version of outlook?

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
