No envelope on taskbar when new email arrives - Microsoft Community


using office 2016 under w 10.  both date.

sometime in last few days have noticed there no yellow envelope showing on taskbar when new email message arrives.  sound produced no envelope.  both checked in outlook's options.  started.

to enable outlook notifications on taskbar, kindly follow these steps:

  1. in action center (in bottom right corner, next time), click on all settings.
  2. click on system.
  3.  click on notifications & actions.
  4. in show notifications these apps section, select outlook.
  5.  make sure notifications enabled.

tell how goes.
