O365 is changing meeting invites. #symbols ahead of phone numbers - Microsoft Community


o365 modifing meeting invites. hash character [#]symbols ahead of phone numbers in o365 outlook meeting invitation .

please provide me fix .

hi dhivya,

since modified link can opened normally, based on experience, temporary issue or caused third-party add-ins.

so suggest create meeting request same link see if same issue still occurs.

if not, needn’t worry might happen occasionally.

if issue keep happening, suggest run outlook in safe mode , recreate new meeting request holding windows key , pressing r, typing outlook.exe /safe in open field , click ok exclude impact of add-ins.

and did encounter issue before? if not, did make changes such updating version of outlook client?
