Outlook 365 recreates old OST Files all the time - Microsoft Community


hi!

i´m trying desperate find solution on this.

i´m running windows 10 creators update , office 365

ich want create fresh ost profiles mail (imap) accounts.

the reason is, habe problems folders, can´t delete outlook (not via delete, not via imap abo - keep coming back) , not shown in web interface.

so thought, problem must somewhere ost, old folder structrue beeing kept.

for close outlook, move classic mail setup in system control , delete mail accounts , files.

afterwards move folder c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook check, if files removed.

afterwards restart outlook , check, if accounts removed. yes, not shown anymore.

but strangely, restart outlook, ost files removed beeing recreated again in folder.

so somehow outlook keeps sourcing them somewhere.

i tried tipp remove registry entrys profiles (deleting: computer\hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\16.0\outlook), doesn´t help.

i want build clean folder structure again server, have feeling, problem lies somewhere these osts beeing rebuilded , hanging around in background. if create new profiles, keep staying (they have partially different numbers in end of filename)-

can help? i´m bit desperated, trying find solution since 2 days...

i found solution seems work:

i had force anti virus software not secure mails.

afterwards handle folders via (imap folder control, deleting folders).

best!

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
