PowerPoint 2010 crashes when adding narration - Microsoft Community


in powerpoint 2010, trying narrate slides.  i can narrate , advance slides, when come end of presentation, or when right click , "end slideshow", thinking wheel appears , shortly after dialogue box pops saying powerpoint has stopped working.  any help?

a few possible reasons can cause of issue. may experiencing problem because of add-in conflict, corrupted files, or third-party applications interfering powerpoint.

to diagnose , fix issue, suggest start powerpoint in safe mode. method allows safely use when has encountered problems. useful when application crashing.

  1. right-click start button (lower-left corner) in windows, , click run. alternatively, can press windows logo key , r key on keyboard.
  2. in run box, type powerpnt /safe, , click ok.

if issue persists, recommend repair office. scan , repair office system files on computer.
