Could not search emails on outlook using the same search string when - Microsoft Community


hello guys!

i'm having problems searching mail using same search string.

this happened when migrated old pc new one.

from old pc, search string "from:jdoe" search mails john doe; example name :)

result: outlook can search mails john doe

from new laptop, search string "from:jdoe"

result: no mails found

however,

from new laptop, search string "from:j doe" - notice space between "j" , "d"

result: outlook can search mails john doe

i hope me problem.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
