Outlook 2016 font size - changes when text is copied - Microsoft Community


outlook version: v15.24 (mac desktop)

os version: mac os sierra 10.12.13

outlook 2016 font changes when text copied 1 email another. example, had sent email using outlook 1 recipient (the same version, same computer). of text in original email times 12 pt. default font set in preferences new messages. when pasted text new email, times text appears @ 16 pt font. 

i able reproduce effect multiple times using text different messages (so not specific message copying from)

microsoft office version patched , date. 

if designated microsoft specialist, please please please not respond question. have attempted provide complete description. appreciate thorough response.

firstly, i’d newest production version of outlook 2016 mac should 15.32. so, recommend upgrade client newest version see if works.

secondly, according description, copied content original message sent recipient. say, copied message message in sent items folder of outlook 2016 mac. result, suggest re-confirm whether font has been changed 16 (times) of message kept in sent items message. if so, makes sense.

thirdly, suggest copy , paste original content textedit of mac avoiding potential font changing issue. after that, copy , paste textedit.
