Can no longer connect Outlook on my laptop to Office 365 webmail - Microsoft Community

hope can me.

i use windows 10 on laptop office365. use outlook on device manage several email accounts including cloud-based outlook office 365 account set me organisation work (so don't use regular microsoft login this).

until recently, able send , receive messages gmail, office 365(cloud) , bigpond addresses through version of outlook on desktop. however, after installed latest windows updates few days ago, lost ability send messages using office 365(cloud) address laptop. use receive messages not send them.

i logged onto cloud account directly , can send , receive fine there there no problem account itself, way linked outlook on laptop.

i looked through account settings both online , on laptop , not see issues. decided remove email account outlook settings on laptop intention of reinstalling it. however, can't find email address @ all.

not sure server type use cloud account. options pop, imap, smtp or exchange active sync.

i'm no expert in area , muddle way through, hope explanations make sense.

as mentioned, because when logged onto cloud account directly , can send , receive emails successfully, there no problem account.

since using office 365 account, suggested run support , recovery assistant office 365 let tool fix problem you.

  3. it recommended use exchange auto-configure mode set office 365 account. see outlook email setup. please let me know methoed use set office 365 account , result after use exchange mode configure.
  4. about messages cannot sent out, see them piling in outbox below? if not, receive popup window or error message when send emails?
