Outlook 2016 lost all contacts - Microsoft Community


i reinstalled pc (win 10) , found out that, after restoring back-up data, outlook contacts gone. inbox, calendar, , notes have old data. i'm using outlook 2016. can send , receive mails acounts.

i have multiple email accounts, 2 ms exchange, , 1 mapi/smtp. stored contacts in personal folder. did not use contacts of ms exchange accounts these accounts customers work with.

i tried see if files corrupted, reinstalled files, without luck.

  1. did log in using outlook.com? if not, kindly , see if contacts there.
  2. are there errors showing up?
  3. have checked if app updated?
