Problem sending drafts from alternative system - Microsoft Community


scenario 1: create local outlook email message on 1 system (outlook on exchange) , save outlook drafts...send draft folder , delivered properly.

scenario 2: create local outlook email on 1 system (outlook on exchange) , save outlook drafts...log different computer (same user), open outlook , drafts synced , present in drafts folder expected...when clicking send on draft email different computer (not system original message created)...the send fails because email sender email address seen display name. check sent items , single quotes added email address causing bounce.

is there way prevent quotes being added receiver email when sending different computer?

the reason need able send email remotely when not @ computer created original mail message.

i can understand situation. single quote mark appear if address not present in outlook address book. save contact(s) in outlook address book , try sending email , check if helps.

 

note: outlook puts single quotes email address contact not saved in contacts folder. shouldn’t cause issue sending emails.

 

meanwhile, it's no business system send draft generally. can try entering recipient's email address without auto-complete check issue. if issue persists, try entering email address via searching recipient in global address list.
