Outlook for Mac 2016 frequently hangs for 5-10 seconds at a time - Microsoft Community


i spinning beachball time, while context switching outlook while using it.  the hangs last 3-10 seconds , more frequent when i'm working calendar.  i took process sample during 1 such pause , it's 1.3mb, not sure if that's normal.  i'm trying submit through contact support, that's sitting there spinning well.  

anyone else seeing this?  anyone know way troubleshoot? 

appears have solved problem.  i deleted bunch of old events second calendar, exported ones wanted keep, deleted calendar.  i have since re-imported events wanted keep , performance problems have not returned far.  i'm willing call solved.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
