Outlook very slow performance after update for Office 2016 for Mac - Microsoft Community

we seeing big time slowness issue outlook, making unusable. if takes lot of time synchronize/download email on internet or corporate network. clicking on send button of email bring spinning beach ball, requires wait , watch. need fixed on priority. 

is there easy way downgrade without downloading emails scratch?



add, tried instruction given for high cpu usage after updating outlook 2016 mac 15.28 with no help. running mac os x 10.11.

as danielkrings shared, after updating os version 10.12.3 (16d32), outlook backed normal performance.

i’d suggest upgrade os latest version see if works.

 

if issue persists, please provide following information further analysis:

1. the detailed problematic version of outlook mac. (open outlook>click outlook in taskbar>about outlook)

please update outlook mac to see if works.

2. sample log. when issue happens, navigate to finder > applications > utilities > activity monitor, double click activity monitor, under process name column, double click microsoft outlook, click sample. provide sample log via private message for further analysis.
