Why Doesn't Outlook 2016 on Mac Sync at Quit - Microsoft Community


still having issue. unlike outlook on pc or mac's own mail program, there delay when outlook 2016 mac syncs changes office 365 exchange server. annoying occurrence when delete last emails or move emails right before quitting outlook. emails never deleted or moved other folders until start outlook again. if check them on phone, still sitting there originally. why can't outlook 2016 1 last sync before quits , fine? while outlook 2016, switching apple's mail program because know delete or move something, it's done. not outlook 2016/

thank reply. understanding synchronization interval brings lots of inconvenience. if made changes in outlook mac, , quit outlook after few seconds, changes didn't sync cloud.

i suggest open outlook web app, click refresh sync change. when see change, quit outlook. in case, take 3 seconds finish syncronization. workaround , know may not best choice. can right click on related folder , choose "synchronize now" push process. report behavior related teams.
