Cannot send email moved to drafts folder - Microsoft Community


i working on microsoft outlook 2016 mac.  i received draft email attachment , moved draft email drafts folder, when double click draft drafts folder edit , send it. opens no send button appears, cannot edit it. used older versions of microsoft outlook mac , on outlook on windows well. idea on how resolve issue.

relevant screenshot provided , have run tests in latest product version of outlook mac 15.30 (170107). based on test, it’s indeed not feasible send or edit saved draft message generated , sent outlook windows client. understanding.

given situation, here 2 workarounds might helpful you:
1. click reply or forward in draft email each time you’d use draft , remove re: or fw:, can see send button , edit body of draft message.
2. can create new message, copy contents in original draft email , paste them new email, save new email new draft. new draft can edited or sent based on test.
