Outlook 2016 - High resolution display issue - Microsoft Community


hi

after latest updates of windows 10 , office 2016 outlook stared act strange when changing displays.

here setup: have laptop 1920x1080 screen , 4k monitor 3840x2160 resolution. use 100% dpi when i'm using laptop screen , 150% dpi monitor.

here issue: when logon on laptop (without display attached) working ok, @ moment attach external display , move outlook window external display outlook interface shifts , impossibe work. if disconnect external display - outlook looks ok again. if logout/login on external display - outlook ok (with 150% dpi) after disconnect display - laptop screen - result same.

so every time when change displays need logoff/logon fix outlook.

outlook/office version: 1703 (7967.2139) 64bit

windows 10 version: 1703 (build 15063.250) 64bit

there no "override high dpi scaling behavior" checkbox outlook.exe cannot test it.

does face such issue? idea how fix it?

hi stoian,

with regard concern, issue might caused if have video configuration on computer incompatible office feature set responsible displaying application , animations in application.

disabling hardware acceleration in office resolve concern. suggest check this link , refer steps under other symptoms article.
