Mark a complete not synchronised among 5 user accounts who share the - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have problem has been bugging more month.

we have 5 users each have own user accounts. shared common mailbox. have been using outlook 2013 these while no issues. however, recently, causes "mark complete" not in sync each other.

"mark complete" happens after click on red flag.

so whenever , 1 of users among 5, read finished email, mark completed , drag sub folder.

the "mark complete" should shown in 5 users accounts, lately shows randomly in of 5. shows in 3 of 5, sometimes, shows in 2 of 5 user accounts.

to try solving issue, have upgraded 5 users office 365, , updated latest version. still issue remains,

the mark complete shows in 3 of 5, sometimes, shows in 2 of 5 user accounts.

i'm not sure if due windows update, problem occurs. on end, didn't change anything. i'm liaising microsoft engineers, have yet solve it.

please advise urgently.

thank you.

hi joshtechsolutions,

according description, i’d confirm if “mark complete” tasks status completed clicking red flag can’t synced in same shared mailbox of 5 users’ outlook clients.

if yes, have done tests side. tasks can synced in shared mailbox of different users without issues. better understand situation, please provide following information:

  1. please click “update folder” button under “send/receive groups” force update task folder.

  2. check if problematic users have right permission on shared mailbox.

  3. do uses use same version of outlook 2013 client? check version, please click file > office account > office updates > version.

  4. when user create new task status “in progress” in shared mailbox, can 2 or 3 problematic users see in outlook 2013 client? please check newly created task in outlook web app (owa: https://outlook.office.com/).

note: open shared mailbox, users need click “open mailbox” in owa. it, please refer “open person’s mailbox in separate browser window in outlook web app” section in article:
