Not able to search in outlook email. - Microsoft Community

i cannot search outlook 2007 emails in windows 10.  i receive notice search results may incomplete because items still being indexed when tried search.  it appeared stuck on trying index.  i followed microsoft tips rebuild index , doesn't work @ all! when search common email sender finds 0 results.  i went bad worse following these directions:

1. exit outlook.
2. open indexing options.
   • windows 8
     on the start screen, type indexing options, select settings under search, and select indexing options.
   • windows 7 or windows vista
     select start, type indexing options in the start search box, , press enter.
     
     note if prompted administrator password or confirmation, type password, or click allow.
   • windows xp
     select start > settings > control panel, and double-click indexing options.
     
     note if control panel in the category view, select performance , maintenance, , open indexing options.
3. in the indexing options dialog box, select modify, select clear check box next outlook, , select ok.
4. in the indexing options dialog box, select advanced.
5. in the advanced options dialog box, select rebuild.
6. select ok.
7. select close.

if indexing finishes without including outlook data files, contact microsoft customer support services request assistance outlook instant search.

if indexing not finish, contact microsoft customer support services request assistance windows desktop search.

so... trying contact microsoft customer support service assistance outlook work again!
