Fix Outlook email folders sometimes invisible in navigation pane - Microsoft Community


i'm running office 365 in windows 10. outlook navigation pane email folders showing invisible folders (see screen shot below). if run cursor on list of folders, appear again. i'm looking solve recurring annoyance.

i have recent version of outlook , office 64-bit.

the problem, of random folder names being functional invisible, has stopped, relate connection gmail account. solution list below , posted on less specific question outlook errors.

do happen have google / gmail address connected outlook? saw suggestion on post gmail account linked outlook source of multiple problems. while working in outlook, drag email hotmail folder gmail account folder. on recent day did action, outlook crashed right in middle of transfer, , no suggestion on post or others outlook start , function correctly. experiment, created new outlook profile, did not include gmail account, , outlook worked fine. went old outlook profile, unlinked gmail account, , outlook began working correctly again (after weeks of rnndom invisitalbe folders, sudden errors , shut downs). note though outlook crash on opening , checking mail, if clicked 'file' 'account settings' fast enough, account settings , outlook not crash while under feature. have gmail account linked outlook again, no longer drag emails between accounts. forward them other address, , since making change have had no further outlook problems.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
