Cannot connect Outlook 2016 to hotmail account - Microsoft Community


outlook far favourite office application. calendar but:

up until couple of weeks ago. have been able have outlook 2016 talk hotmail account: *** email address removed privacy ***

suddenly without reason outlook stopped connecting hotmail.

so software engineer did typical problem solving , have found no solution.....

so in end reset outlook , tried re-add hotmail account outlook

it simple not connect. ive followed these steps exactly:

i frustrated. have had use web outlook login.

there several reasons why outlook app not connect hotmail account. assist better, please answer these questions:

  • did encounter error messages while trying connect outlook hotmail account?
  • have made changes on pc prior issue?
  • can send screenshot of exact error/ issue?

we'll waiting response.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
