New Outlook 365 - changing fonts - Microsoft Community


i got upgraded windows 10, new office 365 (proplus account) , struggling 2 things:

1) want remove "compact view" , "reading pane" on subfolders within inbox. find have 1 folder @ time - there must better way?

2) i'm having hard time changing font size on email folders. tried view settings when i'm in inbox , when changed row font made overall size of row larger, not actual font. yet subfolders can use view settings increase size have each subfolder 1 @ time. don't want zoom looks blurry - there has easier way!

hi fay,

i apologize confusion on earlier post. based on test can see need manually change view of folders like:

-          drafts

-          sent items

-          deleted items

-          junk email

-          outbox

-          rss subscriptions

after modify “view settings” of these folders, apply current view other mail folders… grayed out , cannot applied other folders.


you can apply desired view/font settings of folders included in inbox, archive, conversation history , search folders shown on screenshot above.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
