OUTLOOK SETTING TO COPY SENT ITEMS of EMPLOYEE - Microsoft Community

hi there.

i suspicious of 1 of employees activities started checking emails (inbox) being admin email ids of company - have access emails.

and right. working competitors on commission stealing our orders , sharing competitors , gaining commission it.

but there 1 big issue.

i need gather few copies of outgoing emails id.

although have id configured on pc using imap, quick in archiving sent items.

as email sent emails archived.

so have inbox emails not emails sent him.

is there simple setting can on email id pc - emails sent id, either receive copy without him knowing or copy gets saved pc.

i not want action yet till have enough evidence.

hi zak_1406,

if configure user’s account on outlook client, it’s not feasible create rule emails sent on outlook client.

since posted question in office 365 business category, i’d know whether colleague using office 365 accounts. if so, can create journal rule in exchange admin center monitor emails sent specific email account. here steps:

1. sign in exchange admin center using office 365 administrator account.

2. navigate compliance management > journal rules > create new rule below:

note: before create journal rule, must specify email account receive journal reports can't delivered journal destination. this, click ok. on journal rules page, select email address send undeliverable journal reports to. browse select mailbox in organization or external contact receive undeliverable reports.

for more information, please refer article: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn781273(v=exchg.150).aspx. make sure rules set correct, recommend first create test rule monitor emails sent email account.

regards,

barry
