Why can't Outlook for Android read .MSG files saved from Outlook - Microsoft Community


hello all

how funny, installed outlook on android phone hoping open .msg files save desktop outlook.

guess - outlook on mobile phone apparently won't open outlook .msg file.

very funny.

is there way have outlook work itself?

it turns out feature you're looking not yet available in outlook android. might need install third-party app supports .msg files. if have ideas or suggestions outlook android, recommend post outlook uservoice.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
