Best option or way for people outside the organization to see calendar - Microsoft Community


i trying develop best understanding can sharepoint , office 365 groups have ability guests outside of organization able view calendar events, not have access editing. need 1 calendar shared among members in organization edit, read , review on outlook , owa (online outlook). 

it appears guests in office 365 group not have permissions view group calendar. speaking microsoft technician, there no way change limitations of guests have ability view group calendar within office 365 group. need alternative option have people outside of organization view same shared calendar within outlook , owa.

if possible, share knowledge on difference between sharepoint calendar , office 365 group calendar.

yes ,guests in office 365 groups cannot view group calendar. try create mail user account quest/external user , add user member of room/resource mailbox. apply calendar permissions availability only quests can free/busy time information , not edit events.

 

office 365 group or modern group provides shared inbox , other collection of resources collaboration. while sharepoint calendar focus on team sites.
