Outlook 2013 AutoText saving selections with default font color RGB - Microsoft Community


whenever save text in autotext part of quick parts gallery, consciously save black font.  yet, when use autotext feature retrieve saved text, has font color of rgb 31.73.125.

  1. why?
  2. is first reported instance of problem?
  3. what can user prevent autotext entries saving in color?  is there fix, please share me?

this yet waste of users' time, having deal defective retrieval of saved autotext elements, or time wasted having forego functionality of auotext....  it's reason users continue viewing microsoft non-responsive users' complaints known development faults , failures.

note:  i haven't vetted yet, believe same situation occurring in word 2013.  

i have following files saved in %user&\appdata\roaming\\microsoft\templates folder:

  • normalemail.dotm
  • normal.dotm

win 7 enterprise sp1

ms office pro plus 2013

to isolate concern, please check if same scenario happen if create new autotext. also, please check if same scenario happen when using different user account on computer.

if it's still same when creating new autotext , using different user account, please run online , quick repair tool office applications. run tool, follow steps found on article.
