Outlook 2016 search shared mailboxes - Microsoft Community


we have shared mailboxes added delegate automapped access via ecp. when searching can search when using scope "current mailbox" or "sub folders". want use 'all mailboxes", few results when using method.

is not feasible index both primary exchange account , shared(or automapped) mailbox in outlook profile? need manually select the current mailbox/subfolders scope in the search tab when searching in shared mailbox?

your understanding correct. shared mailboxes needn't password , licenses, not independent mailboxes. not feasible search emails in shared mailbox main mailbox in outlook.  said, can select inbox , current folder in shared mailbox temporary workaround.
