I can't get outlook to work on my iPhone 7 - Microsoft Community


for several weeks new iphone 7 says "action required sync email"  i have downloaded outlook email ios many times , run it, doesn't fix recurring message.  it keeps saying "you're trying use older way of accessing outlook.com email on iphone."  i'm using official microsoft outlook app, can't stop recurring message.  please help!!

one of possible reasons why unable access outlook on iphone7 if there problem how set up. best address concern, need answer following questions:

 

  • for clarification, using outlook app ios or ios mail app?
  • are experiencing issue on both applications?
  • were able access outlook on device before, or first time you’re going set up?
  • which email server type using, pop3, imap, or exchange?
  • can provide screenshot of error message you’re getting?
  • if outlook account set on device, did make changes before issue happened?
  • aside downloading outlook ios, other troubleshooting steps have done far?
