Outlook for Mac v15.30 (170104) fails to reliably work with - Microsoft Community


as of late dec 2016, outlook mac not reliably work office365. have work account based on o365, works fine apple mail, busycal , fantastical, not outlook mac.

up late december '16, outlook has worked smoothly work o365 account.

i have 2 private exchange accounts single-factor authentication. these continue work normally.

basically, outlook run couple of hours, trigger second-factor authentication dialog. sometimes, second-factor dialog not recognise valid password, , other times dismisses expected "please try again" dialog pops , connection o365 account remains suppressed.

the issue described @ least 1 other (see link below). timeframe (late december) correlates closely timing of issues experiencing:

i have tried workaround suggested problem reappears.

i reliant on outlook daily managing meeting resources (which cannot other client programs), need workaround or patch in short term. issue impacting quite severely.

thanks private message. glad hear outlook mac client runs smoothly uninstalling outlook client, upgrading latest version , reconfiguring 3 accounts.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
