Searching shared mailboxes - Microsoft Community


outlook 2016 , exchange online. scenario: user mailbox , full access several shared mailboxes. there appears no way search through these mailboxes in 1 pass. limitation appears be: can search e-mails specific folder of shared mailbox in outlook 2016 selecting current folder. also, not feasible search e-mails entire mailbox in outlook selecting mailboxes/all outlook items.

 

is correct understanding? if so, there workarounds? matter if use exchange online or cached mode, if select download shared folders?

you still accessing shared mailbox delegate, there's no contradiction microsoft's license terms. support standpoint might not strictly supported configuration, has been working years , still does. it's 1 of articles hits on blog :)

apart search, there number of other reasons might want add shared mailbox additional account.



Office / Outlook / Other/unknown / Office 365 for business
