Multiple entries for same Contacts Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community


on laptop contacts contain multiple entries same person. (windows 10 outlook 2016)

from reading other questions , replies seems microsoft has no automated method of merging multiplied entries one.

i conclude multiple entries stem syncing mobile. note complaints syncing m/soft mobiles duplication problem iphone 4.

i won't syncing other devices until m/soft, apple , android work out elegant system.

meantime, unless have better plan intend create excel .csv file. edit out junk , tell outlook 2016 import it.

as aside there not appear way of cleaning iphone contacts multiple entries because of trap in itunes.

itunes windows allows backup iphone on pc. first time asked password , hit enter. big mistake itunes forever more not accept enter password. permanently locked out. apple gives no warning. @ least m/soft gave me warning , suggestions when tried to set "enter" as my new computer's opening password.
