default location for added/saved contacts - Microsoft Community


had re-install office 365 outlook 2016 after system failure, , contacts/address book gone.  i had csv file exported contacts, imported it.  it associated 1 of email addresses (address x).  but, when click on address in email receive , add contacts, goes contacts file associated different email address (address y).  address y first 1 added when set outlook, not primary address - address x.  how can outlook add contacts file address x?  i prefer have addresses in 1 place , not have search different contact folders person.

reading description of issue, appears default storage folder set refer address y. basically, needs done set address x default. this, recommend steps detailed our microsoft insider in article default address book in outlook 2016.

should need more help, let know.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
