Importing .PST file & contacts to another PC - Microsoft Community


running outlook 2013 on win 10 desktop pc. want .pst file / contacts outlook 2013 on laptop. please advise how this. computers on wireless network. thank you.

hello - configured pop3 accounts.

then there absolutely no reason export/import anything. copy pst file(s) laptop , make sure select following option when configuring pop3 accounts.

if you're using more 1 pst file accounts, sure pst file set default on desktop set default on laptop (automatically happens if use first email account configured).

if you've configured accounts without having done above, can either create new profile on laptop or need add required pst files profile , change delivery location of configured accounts correct <inbox> folder shown below removing pst files outlook automatically created. (to add data files - go data files tab --> <add>)

to change deliver location

1) highlight pop3 account

2) click on <change folder> button 

3) select <inbox> in selected pst file
