Outlook 2016 Reading Pane not working - Microsoft Community


i have 3 accounts (o365, hotmail, exchange2010 on prem) displayed in same outlook ost file.

on exchange account, have issues reading pane briefly displays content , screen goes blank (white).

opening message shows full content, not in reading pane.

this happens exchange account not hotmail or 0365. 

it doesn't happen 100% of time - happens plain-text , html messages, or doesn't happen.

sometimes happens part of message

i've tried outlook.exe /safe , outlook.exe /cleanviews both no success.

the problem started around same time i  installed yammer desktop alert app, uninstalled applet

there newer version of fork on getting deployed.  be 16.0.8067.2115.  try forcing upgrade clicking file, office account, update options, update now.  if still see issue build might need open new bug.  builds throttled might not right away worth checking.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
