Error trying to add an internal user to an Office365 group - Microsoft Community

i have problem too. works fine until try add internal contact. error telling me internal contacts can added group. no matter if try add internal or external members in outlook.

you may use admin credential check if user can added group via powershell.

if issue persists, please share cmdlet outcome , following us:
