Outlook 2011 for Mac. Freeze - Microsoft Community


so, periodically happens no reason , happening now. open outlook after reboot , program loads screen totally freezes. go , quit , relaunch outlook, same thing. download email few seconds freeze again.  i have rebuild database 2 x. no change. have gone time machine , used identity before system reboot , no change.  for now, can not use email on computer @ all. if try click anywhere, beachball.  so issue odd, loads, downloads emails (even of recent), totally freezes. appreciated.

to analyze issue, please follow steps below collect sample when outlook freezes again , send via private message.

  1. open activity monitor (finder > applications > utilities > activity monitor).
  2. double click microsoft outlook.
  3. click sample button.
  4. when sample done, click “save…” in upper right corner of window save log .txt file.

 

moreover, please check if have installed add-ins in mac before issue occurs. if yes, please try removing , check if issue persists.
