Outlook 2016 fails to open - Microsoft Community


i using outlook 2016 mso (16.0.8201.2102) 32 bit , haven't not been able open outlook.  it briefly shows option open in safe mode - message came brief can't click choose safe mode.  

i can access administrator account - somehow comes limitation, 1 of inability drag file attached email.

btw, have tried following:

1. disable com add-ins through these steps:

if application works fine safe mode, try disabling add ins application , check result,

click file tab.

go options.

click add-ins.

in manage section, select com add-ins , click on go.

now uncheck add-ins , click on ok.

2. use scanpst.exe to repair .pst file

prior this, outlook worked fine.  somehow failed , can't guess trigger caused failure.  i appreciate other suggestions.

this caused system conflict. know more, please answer following:

  • have made changes prior issue?
  • are getting pop or error messages?

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
