Outlook Search Fields do not reset when search is cleared - Microsoft Community


good day you

i using outlook on office 365 and have sudden unexplained challenge search filters used when searching emails not want clear when exiting search. when typing in new search, old search criteria remains , 'hard coded', cannot typed on , way remove remove , re-insert search field. have run repair files on outlook , did not work. have rebuild index file , did not work. out of ideas. suggestions please.

hi all,

we have submitted issue hotfix request rejected.  reason part of search functionality going deprecated longer term, https://support.office.com/en-us/article/upcoming-changes-for-recent-searches-advanced-find-and-expanded-find-5df360da-a50d-4203-bd46-fde18c77d736?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us.  product team working on new search functionality replace older features.  expect page linked above updated more thoroughly in following weeks replacement feature guidance.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
