Outlook 2016 locks up - Microsoft Community


this seems multi-part issue.  beginning outlook 2016 stops receiving e-mails @ point during day.  when try manually collect e-mail, clicking send/receive, outlook locks , have restart outlook.  more not outlook not restart , have reboot pc.  happening on multiple computers , not one.  pc's running windows 7 professional, sp1.  begin look, can't find on microsoft support or google-ing it.

any ideas appreciated.

there several reasons why having issue outlook. can due internet connection or wrong configuration settings. resolve issue, we'd gather more information:

  • have made recent changes on computers?
  • is internet connection working fine? if having intermittent connection, can reason why can't receive messages. 
  • did error messages? if yes, kindly send screenshot.
  • are using same email account when logging in outlook 2016 using other computers?
