Can't add/edit new items to new "Family calendar" - Microsoft Community


there new "family calendar" feature added outlook.com recently.

i tried adding items/appointments using outlook 2016, tells me don't have permissions add/edit items.

i able add/edit items using calendar app on windows 10.

family calendar feature released requested lot of users. however, indicated in link, it might available outlook web app office 365 business , outlook.com. might reason why you’re experiencing issues adding or editing shared calendar items.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
