How to default the Resource Usage view to a collapsed outline. - Microsoft Community

i looking way have resource usage view default the collapsed outline, lists resources instead of resources , of subtasks.

can done?

in microsoft project, definition of view follows:

view = table + filter + group + screen

notice outline level not part of definition of view.  because of this, cannot specify resource usage view show resources, task assignments collapsed.  in each individual project, however, can use outline button ribbon collapse of assignments .  apply resource usage view , click select button select every resource , task assignment.  in data section of view ribbon, click outline >  hide subtasks collapse each resource's task assignments see resources.
