"new" method of attaching docs in outlook not present for - Microsoft Community


hi there, when go attach file onedrive business - personal docs (good grief name awful. come on microsoft, that's mouthful! anyway...) old link-paste thing shows up, , not "new" method told there. see here:

this method requires login *my company's* office365 account.

a) has broken file sharing. wonder initial roll-out of o365 has been complete disaster onedrive perspective?  somehow there's way *buried in settings* make don't have have login, how supposed know in first place?

b) how "new" dialog, "attaching onedrive files attaching regular files?"  because i'm still using on-site exchange server? we're in process of updating "full" o365 rollout hosted exchange, fix this?

according description, have done test form side. attached files both onedrive personal account, sharepoint online , onedrive business account , show under subject line, not in email body field , no credential required input.

 

to better understand situation, i’d collect following information:

  1. the screenshots of detailed steps how attach files onedrive business , onedrive personal account.
  2. click file > office account. check if office 365 account has been added under connected services pane.
  3. do other users in organization have same issue?
  4. check if can reproduce issue in outlook web app (owa: https://outlook.office.com/owa).
