Office 365 crashes when typing anything with keyboard - Microsoft Community


hello everyone,

in office 365 apps (excel, word, etc.) have same problem type keyboard application crashes. blank document/files same error.

now, i've tried following :

  • uninstall , reinstall office 365.
  • updated keyboard driver.
  • changed keyboard had.

recently, i've changed hardward in computer following :

  • motherboard : asus z270-a prime
  • cpu : intel i5-7006k
  • gpu : asus gtx1060
  • ram : corsair 16gb ddr4 2400mt/s

i've purchased , installed windows 10 on previous windows 7 installation withouth formating ssd.

my old copy of office 2007 started doing exact same problem right after installed windows 10. purchased office 365 thinking old office 2007 bugged on windows 10 new office still crashes.

can me?

in addition, recommend update operating system prevent system conflicts. this, follow steps below:

  1. in search box, type settings , press enter.
  2. click on update & security , select check for updates under windows update.
  3. follow on screen prompts. however, if windows update says device date, have updates available.

after performing steps above, re-install office , check if issue persists.

give update outcome.
