Outlook Searching - Microsoft Community


i have 2 accounts in folder pane.  when searching in primary account, able searches in current folder , subfolders.  when searching in secondary account, not given same options.  can make secondary account provide same searching methods primary?

the secondary account shared account our team.  account conduct communications our customers , our vendors.  issue receive fedex tracking status emails on account.  have written rules place incoming emails folder - shipping , subfolders track tendered, notifications, exceptions, partial delivery , delivered package statuses.  when receive call customer our hope search shipping folder & subfolders customer's account number , provide status of delivery.  way this?

if secondary account shared account, it’s not feasible same searching option primary account in outlook 2016 client.

workaround, can try add shared mailbox additional account "vasil" suggested or use advanced find option. more detailed information, please refer article under “use advanced find” find message or item instant search

moreover, regarding feature option requirement, please visit outlook suggestion box leave feedback or vote. many features of current programs have been designed , upgraded based on customers’ feedback
