Receiving this frustrating problem with my Outlook 2010 - Microsoft Community


hello , hope can me. i've been working on day! when click on link within email received following #@%$&&* error:

this operation has been cancelled due restrictions in effect on computer. please contact system administrator. 

please me find fix. i'm not computer guru gentle :)

hi richard,

this happens when there no default internet browser registered in windows. resolve issue, suggest re-assign default browser in windows. please go start > settings > system > default apps.

if have multiple browsers installed, helps set other browser default, apply changes , set preferred browser default again.

please post status of issue. glad assist further.
