a couple days ago microsoft outlook 2016 had message pop says microsoft outlook has stopped working, windows looking solution problem. changes message problem has caused program stop working, windows close program , notify if there solution. 

haven't received notifications. tried opening in safe mode, same error message.

thank giving update. if troubleshooter windows app did not work, recommend creating new user profile , see if resolves issue. know how create new outlook profile, click link. if issue still persists, suggest uninstalling , reinstalling app.
