Cannot seem to delete old emails using Outlook connected to my - Microsoft Community


this odd. i'm trying tidy outlook.com account move fastmail (really disappointed how new outlook.com broken, , seems more broken every update).

at moment i'm trying delete emails before set date. 

in outlook.com impossible, because cannot select more 30 emails @ time delete, , have 10 years worth of emails delete take forever.

so decided in outlook 365 itself. selected emails before specified date , deleted them. emptied deleted folder. inbox in outlook 365 looks fine, however, despite giving time sync, nothing seems have changed on outlook.com. 

i noticed, in outlook 365, if search specific emails before date, still finds them! if @ inbox, before 2016 (as example) gone, if type stuff in search field, still turn in results!

i have tried purging inbox, i've made sure outlook 365 getting entire email history, these 'ghost' emails still hanging around, , nothing changing if @ account in outlook.com.

how **** rid of these 'ghost' emails? want delete emails in account before specific date.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
