How to add Auto Text to the Main Ribbon in Outlook 2016? - Microsoft Community


microsoft driving me insane useless features , incoherent organization of features in office.

when try use microsoft office online find out **** hiding auto text feature, page tells "click autotext access autotext gallery".  nothing else. well, thank much! unbelievable how microsoft has managed consistently produce useless help-texts throughout it's history. in windows 3.11 knew there no point in consulting windows help, i'd have thought invest effort in helping users. no. has not changed bit in years. <\rant>

when customize ribbon in outlook , choose "all commands" in left column, normal people assume "all commands" means list of commands. not microsoft, though. gives 1 list of "all commands" when customize ribbon of new email message,

but list of "all commands" when customize the main ribbon in outlook:

more specifically, add auto text commands , building blocks organizer message ribbon in outlook. found. not in so-called list of "all commands". when customize new message ribbon, however, there , have added main tab (because couldn't bothered digging subgroup in insert ribbon. (so "quick" parts). 

how ribbon see when compose new message within main outlook window (not in detached new message)?
