Outlook 2010 Cannot Open Attachments - Microsoft Community

i have outlook 2010

in registry, have setup use level1remove can open attachments.

all has been working ok opening attachments.

windows updated outlook many updates , cannot open attachments. see 1 of these dialogs when try open or save contacts, tasks, etc.. these contacts, tasks, etc. did not add new attachments receive these messages when try open file or save attachment.

i have tried repair , scanpst , still no luck.

did 1 of new updates (picture reflects few of updates) change level1remove settings or did else changed?

hello shawn,

you mentioned concern started after updates installed outlook. possible updates not recognize changes made registry outlook.

if haven't performed yet, recommend run outlook on safe mode see if still encounter same error message.

if have activation code or installer outlook 2010, can uninstall outlook , run system file scan locate , repair possible corrupted files before reinstalling outlook. can follow instructions provided on zigzag3143's article on how perform scan: (click here).
